Lobby Needs & Assessments
iPlay clubs
are provided with private lobbies to hold their events.
The rule of thumb used is that there should be about 10-15
events per lobby. Requests should be sent to
clubs@iplay.net if the
club owner is having difficulty finding locations to
schedule their events.
When a lobby
request is received, an assessment is made which includes
the following:
 |
Number of
events/classes the club currently has scheduled;
|
 |
How many
lobbies does the club have;
|
 |
Placement of
current events;
|
 |
Placement of
future events.

Event Late Starts
iPlay clubs open
events are scheduled to start on the top of the hour.
All events should be underway at that time.
Here are some
helpful hints to get your events going in a timely manner.
They will assist in keeping your events running smoothly and
getting players in their games.
 |
If you find
yourself getting too busy right at the top of the hour to
run the player assignments, close sign ups a few minutes
early and offer to resume getting late comers in after the
initial assignments are run.
|
 |
Set a kitchen
timer to ring 5 minutes before the start of the event to
help you prevent losing track of time.
|
 |
Engage a
co-host during the busy times of the event to help keep
things running smoothly.

Event Count Assessments
iPlay clubs
open events are programmed to take the attendance count at
15 minutes after the start of every open event.
Event counts
are beneficial to both the clubs and to iPlay. They
help us find out information such as:
 |
The
approximate number of players attending an event;
|
 |
How successful
is the event;
|
 |
Has the event
been covered regularly by the club staff;
|
 |
Should the
club consider a format change or time change to increase
attendance.
|
Club owners
are sent their event counts on a monthly basis for their
review and information.
To receive
counts for an event(s) during the course of the month please
email your request to
Event Counts Inquiry.
